When a buyer asks for certificates: be ready before they ask
Export buyers and large companies ask for certificates early. A reply that takes days to find them loses the buyer’s attention.

Buyers abroad, and large buyers in India, often ask for certificates in the first or second message: ISO, food-grade, test reports, export registrations. If it takes your team two days to find the right file, the buyer has moved on.
Keep one ready set
- Collect your current certificates, test reports, registrations and the latest catalogue in one place.
- Check the expiry dates. An expired certificate does more harm than none.
- Mark which ones may be shared with any buyer and which only after a call.
Say only what is true
If a buyer asks for a certificate you do not have, say so plainly and say what you do have. Never claim a certificate you do not hold.
How Sellyx helps
Add your certificates and catalogue to your approved knowledge once. When a buyer asks, Asha attaches the right file to her draft reply, and she never mentions a certificate that is not in your knowledge. Tara reminds you when your listings do not show the certificates you hold.
