About Sellyx
What is Sellyx?
Sellyx gives small and medium businesses in India a team of digital employees for sales and marketing. Each one has one job, such as replying to enquiries, finding new buyers, looking after existing customers, social media, communities or your lead-site listings. They work every day and a person on your team approves what goes out.
Is this a chatbot?
No. Each digital employee has one job and works on it every day: it reads, drafts, follows up and reports. It brings you drafts to approve and tells you what needs you. You can also chat with each one.
Who is Sellyx for?
Indian MSMEs that sell to other businesses: manufacturers, traders, resellers of physical or digital products, and IT services companies. It suits owners who do not have a large sales team to answer every enquiry and follow up every buyer.
Which digital employees are there?
6 work today: Asha (enquiries), Arjun (new buyers), Ravi (customers), Meera (social media), Kabir (communities), Tara (brand and listings). Coming later: Tender manager, Service manager, Collections.
Does Sellyx replace my sales team?
No. It takes the daily drafting, reading and chasing off your people. Calls, meetings, complaints, payment disputes, large orders and tenders stay with a person.
Who makes Sellyx?
Sellyx is a product of Kadel Labs, a technology group founded in 2017 with 400+ people in India and the United States.
Getting started
How do I start?
Sellyx is opening to Indian MSMEs in stages. Ask for early access on WhatsApp or by email and we will set you up.
Do I need a tech person?
No. You pick your industry and the way you do business when you sign up, and Sellyx sets up your team for it. After that you mostly approve drafts and answer their questions in chat.
Do I need to install anything?
No. Sellyx works in the browser on a phone or a computer.
What do I need to set up?
Your business details, your approved knowledge (products, prices, certificates, terms), your brand kit, and the channels you use: mailbox, WhatsApp and the lead sites you are on.
Which industries are set up?
Spices and food exports, Packaging, Industrial valves, pumps and pipes, Electrical goods and hardware, Industrial chemicals, FMCG distribution, Engineering components and fabrication, Software licences and subscriptions, Cloud services and managed cloud, Software and app development, Managed IT and support (AMC). More are added with each release.
Can I rename my digital employees?
Yes. Start them, pause them or rename them whenever you like. Each one follows your brand kit and tone.
How the digital employees work
Which lead sites does it read?
IndiaMART, TradeIndia, Alibaba and the other lead sites for the countries you sell to, plus your mailbox, WhatsApp and your website enquiry form. Where a site allows replies only on the site itself, Asha drafts and a person pastes the reply there.
How fast are enquiries answered?
Asha drafts a reply to each enquiry within minutes. A person approves and sends it. If a reply waits for a person, she can send your approved “enquiry received” email so the buyer knows who will call and when.
Which languages?
Asha drafts the first reply in the buyer’s language. Kabir drafts community replies in the language of the post.
How do follow-ups work?
When a buyer goes quiet, Asha follows up up to three times, on the days you set. Arjun’s campaigns have a first message and up to three polite follow-ups, approved by a manager first.
Where do new buyers come from?
Arjun proposes new prospects every week from Sellyx data, scored against who you want to reach, and researches each company from public web pages before writing. Nothing is added until you approve.
How does Sellyx help with existing customers?
Ravi reads your past sales from a CSV or a Tally export, reminds customers when a reorder is due, renews rate contracts in time, drafts festival greetings and asks for reviews. He gives your team a call to make when a customer goes quiet.
Does Sellyx post on social media?
Meera plans and drafts your posts for LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook and email, with a picture brief for your designer. A person approves and posts every post.
Can it fix my IndiaMART listing?
Tara checks your lead-site pages and your website every week against your approved knowledge and writes each fix for your team: titles, keywords, missing products, photos and certificates. A person makes every change.
Control and safety
Will it message my buyers by itself?
No. A person on your team approves and sends every message to a buyer or a customer. The one exception is the “enquiry received” email, and only in the words you approved.
Can a digital employee make things up?
Facts about your business come only from your approved knowledge. They never invent products, prices, certificates, clients or delivery times, and a draft with a price that is not in your knowledge is dropped.
Will it ask buyers for sensitive details?
No. Your digital employees never ask a buyer or a customer for OTPs, passwords, Aadhaar, PAN or bank details.
What if someone asks us to stop?
They are not written to again, across all campaigns, and the opt-out is recorded. Every email Arjun drafts ends with a line saying the buyer can reply “stop”.
Who in my team can do what?
There are six roles: owner, admin, manager, member, creative and billing. Each person sees and does only what their role allows.
Data and privacy
Where is my data?
Stored in India, in Mumbai.
Can I keep some information internal?
Yes. Mark any knowledge as internal only; your digital employees never put it into a message.
What do the employees keep from their research?
Only facts from public web pages, each with its link. They never record personal emails, phone numbers or home details of private people.
Can Sellyx run in our own data centre?
Yes, for large companies: the whole Sellyx engine can run in your private data centre, with digital employees customised to your business and connected to your CRM and other systems.

What does it cost?
You start with free welcome credits. After that you pay for the work your employees do, from one wallet for your business. Talk to us for a plan.
Who bills me?
Sellyx is billed by Kadel Labs.
Can I see what each employee costs?
Yes. Your wallet and usage are shown in the app.
